Happy Bloggy Anniversary to Me!

This Sunday, September 2nd, marks the one year anniversary of my blog.  This is remarkable to me only because I never dreamed I would keep up with a blog for that long.  My attention span with writing is quite short.  Though I love to write, I have always known I would not be the next great novelist of our time because spending weeks, months, perhaps even years with the same story would be ... impossible. 

This anniversary is also somewhat remarkable because I realized something about blogging.  Most bloggers don't get "discovered" and catapulted onto the Ellen Show or 20/20 because our crazy, unique, attention grabbing blog caught the attention of the masses.  Nope.  Most of us reach a smaller, though continually growing, audience.  And that's fine.  I set out to share a bit about being vegan and how I lived.  I didn't think I was going to necessarily convert anyone to veganism but I thought occasionally a nugget or two of information might make a difference for someone.  Maybe not? 

What I do know now, is that the following video shows, in just over four minutes, what I could spend a life time trying to say.  I'm sharing it here, on Facebook, via email; it's just that good.  If I try to tell you about animal cruelty or social justice or environmental concerns, I am sure I sound preachy.  This video shares everything my heart is feeling and often can't explain.
